Below you'll find some of our favorite recipes for Heartline Beef Fillet Style.


Heartline Chili  
---------------  
    1 lb. pinto beans, cooked            1 8oz pkg. Heartline Beef Fillet
    6 lg. tomatoes, peeled & sliced      1 onion, small, chopped
    3 tbsp. chili powder                 1 tsp. cumin seed

Reconstitute the Heartline according to instructions in a large pot,
mix all ingredients and simmer a few hours until mixture is very
thick. (Serves 4 to 6)  



Heartline Beef Stroganoff

    1 8oz pkg. Heartline Beef Fillet     4 tbsp. butter
    8 oz. mushrooms, sliced              2 medium onions, sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced               1/2 cup water
    1 cup sour cream                     1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Reconstitute the Heartline according to the directions on the package.
Heat 2 tbsp. butter in 10" skillet, add mushrooms, onions and garlic. Cover
and simmer untill onions are tender, stirring occasionally. Add water, 2 tbsp.
butter, and Heartline. Bring to boil, reduce heat, stir in sour cream and
mustard. Simmer until mixture is hot. Garnish with parsley, serve with
noodles. (Serves 3 to 4)       

Heartline Beef with Pea Pods ---------------------------- 1 8oz pkg. of Heartline Beef Fillet 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 thin slice ginger root, crushed 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 1/2 cups stock 6 oz. pea pods 4 oz. mushrooms, sliced 2 cups Chinese cabbage, cut 1/4" 1 medium onion, sliced 8 oz. water chestnuts, thinly sliced 3 tbsp. corn starch 1 tbsp. honey Reconstitute the Heartline product according to the directions on the package, retain 1 1/2 cups of water to use as stock. Mix 1 tbsp. soy sauce, ginger root, and garlic, toss with Heartline Beef, cover and refidgerate for 30 min. In a 10" skillet add Beef mixture and stock. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Remove mixture from skillet. Cook and stir mushrooms, cabbage, onion, and water chestnuts in 2 tbsp. oil over high heat until boil, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 min. (Serves 4 to 5) Heartline Burritos ------------------ 1 8oz pkg. Heartline Beef Fillet 1 onion, diced 2 small tomatoes, diced 3 cloves garlic 1 small potato, diced 2 tsp. cumin 1 cup broccoli florets 1 tsp. chile powder 1 tsp. salt (optional) Reconstitute Beef. Saute onion and garlic in 1/4 cup water or vegetable broth until onions are clear. Add beef and potatoes, and simmer until potatoes become tender (add more water or vegetable broth as needed). Add broccoli and simmer for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve in warm tortillas with salsa or guacamole. Heartline BBQ Beef ------------------ 1 8oz pkg. Heartline Beef Fillet 1 bottle BBQ sauce Add BBQ sauce to reconstituted Beef Fillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
